Designer Spotlight: Anne Conway of Alabama Funk

Happy Thursday! So excited about a three day weekend : ) I will be stepping into mine wearing a couple of new pieces of handmade jewelry designed by Anne Conway, a creative contributor to Alabama Funk, whom I introduced in yesterday's post. All of Anne's designs are handmade, one of a kind creations, which she fashions from vintage chains and found materials like bone, pieces of metal, coins, and keys. Aside from the beautiful designs, Anne is one of the sweetest people I've ever met! Lindsey and I appreciate the quality of her pieces, and they feel special to wear because no two designs are the same.

Of the pieces we are showing off in this post, shot by Eric Gray, our favorite is the vintage chain shoulder drape. Absolutely gorgeous.

Also love the long antler tassel necklace. Such an easy piece to wear that keep getting a lot of compliments on : ). You'll be seeing more of this one.

We love the sparkle of the triple prism necklace, made from vintage chandelier prisms that make a delicious little clink when you move.

The key necklace, interlaced with strips of metal, is another one that has sparked quite a few compliments. Such a cool piece.

This last piece, which Anne refers to as the Coin and Relic necklace, is one of our favorites. We love this combination of found items - a watch band, a religious relic pendants, coins, and a chandelier prism. How amazing is this eclectic mix? This is another one you'll be seeing more of. Love!

Anne's designs can be bought online and in stores at Harold and Mod in Birmingham, SOCA Birmingham, and SOCA Nashville. The prices of the pieces in this post range from $68 to $118.

Enjoy your weekend!!
