The Two-Step Reverse Cat-Eye

Here is a fun spin on the cat eye. Same concept as the classic, only flipped. Lindsey achieved the effect quite easily with just an eyeliner pencil and brush. She started with a swipe of Chanel Le Crayon Kohl Intense Eye Pencil in Noir #61 just along the outside of the bottom lash line. Then, she used Chanel's Small Contour and Shadow brush #26 to lightly blend outward and upward, creating a cat-eye effect. To keep the look more natural, Lindsey applied the kohl eye liner pencil with a very light hand. A sheer wing of color softens the look, making it more wearable. A reverse cat eye is more dramatic than than the classic, so to look fresh, avoid a heavy face of makeup. A lengthening mascara, a neutral eyeshadow, and a little lip gloss is all you'll need. Here, Lindsey dressed up her low key hair and makeup with a striking statement necklace and a pair of sparkly Lila bangles from Shals... you'll def want to check out some of the new pieces on her site! Right now, we like the Tal style. : )

Also, I've been experimenting with the photography a bit... like the black and white pics?

    You look gorgeous. :)
This is a fun concept and I usually line from the bottom to gage how much I should flick the upper lines.
