It's 25 degrees in Alabama, and we are craving signs of spring. Ready for warm weather! Since we can't put away our coats and boots just yet, for now, spring makeup will have to do. We really like Chanel's new spring collection, Notes de Printemps, which features some really gorgeous shades of pinks and purples. The colors are pretty and girly, yet still sophisticated. Here, Lindsey is wearing some of our favorites from the collection.
Our top pick is the quad of eyeshadows, Lumieries Facette Quadra Eyeshadow in Quadrille. It's a great palette that you can achieve a lot of looks from. It has a warm pink, a medium plum, a pretty champagne, and a deep velvety mink shadow. We like to go heavier on the pink and purple shades. Also part of the collection is a new shade of sparkly pink cream eyeshadow, Illusion D'ombre Longwear Eyeshadow in Impulsion, which looks great when applied lightly on top as a highlighter, as seen on Lindsey. (Click here to see a previous post on the Illusion D'ombre cream shadows.) Our favorite blush in the collection is Le Blush Crème de Chanel in Chamade. Lindsey is wearing it here with a light dusting of the Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Malice on top, which is a bright coral hue. Finally, our top lip color pick from the collection is the Rouge Coco Hydrating Crème Lipstick in Triomphe. This shade of pink is really flattering and is great for spring.
