We are really liking the gorgeously natural wavy hair seen at Versace's Spring 2013 runway show. They are unfussy and look effortless. According to Allure, hairstylist Guido created a more relaxed look than the bouncy curls and sleek styles that we've seen at past shows. What intrigues us so much is that he reportedly did not use any heat styling tools. Allure reports that he started by working handfuls of mousse into the models' wet hair and then roughing drying it. Next, he twisted their dry strands back into a knot before sending them off to have their makeup done. Later on, the knots were removed from their head, leaving a perfectly natural slight bend to their hair. Guido reportedly finished by using Redken Powder Refresh 01 Hair Powder/Dry Shampoo in their hair to help boost the thickness.
Loving all the hair. We will be trying this knot trick. And loving the black dress above on the right on Jordan Dunn as well as the shimmery fringe one below on the left. Happy Wednesday!
