Our Favorite Drugstore Moisturizers

In this post, we'll share with you a few of our favorite drugstore moisturizers, all of which happen to be by Olay. We've had really nice results with these... and who doesn't love a good buy? We'll start with Olay Regenerist UV Defense Lotion SPF 50 ($24), since sun protection should be a top priority for you right now. This is a solid moisturizer with extremely high sun protection, which is crucial if you spend time out in the sun. Many face lotions with such high SPF levels can be irritating and cause watery eyes - not this one. It also doesn't smell overwhelmingly like sunscreen (even slightly floral-like), and it isn't at all greasy. Another Olay lotion we love is Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Anti-Aging Moisturizer + Touch of Sun, which is currently on sell for around $17 at Drugstore.com. This has been a favorite of ours for years... we still have not found a better drugstore moisturizer! We like to use this one at night because it is slightly richer (but not heavy). We've found that it delivers the perfect level of skin-quenching. This one makes the face feel noticeably softer in the morning - even after one use. The touch of sun is a nice bonus. It is an extremely light gradual self-tanner... we almost wish it came in a darker shade of tanner! Olay Total Effects is also available without the touch of sun. Finally, Olay Regenerist Microscuplting Serum ($25) is a good one to incorporate into your routine if you are seeking a little more anti-aging ingredients. To us, this one feels lighter than Olay Total Effects. If your skin is more on the oily side, you might prefer to use this one in place of moisturizer. If your skin is a little dry, then start with this one after washing your face, and then follow with Olay Total Effects. The Regenerist Serum has ingredients that help with lifting and firming. The formula has a pearly appearance that we've found brightens dull skin a bit.
